Keep Your Anime Out of My D and D

This is a rule and also a guideline. Please do not make blatant or irritating references to ANYTHING in an anime. The campaign should be original. One of the reasons for this is the characters don’t know what the thing you’re referring to is, and thus it is a form of meta-gaming. Another is that my campaign is an original work and therefore should not have contrite, unoriginal or otherwise ill conceived additions in it. I encourage all players to sculpt their choices as if the fantasy were based in a real-life setting (yes it has magic, I’m referring to ‘live action’) and not pull things from a super-fiction/two dimensional or cartoonish sources such as Anime, video games, existing novels (to a lesser extent) or well known movies (also to a lesser extent). The penalty for doing so will most likely be circumstances that are disadvantageous to the player participating in said behavior, and up to and including experience point penalties.
