Titles and Classes

Below is a listing of common usages of words to address combatants of a particular bent. Using terms outside of these is acceptable, but remember that it either must be established with the people you are talking about it to, or else the term may not be one they recognize. For example, a person with levels in Force Missile Mage would not refer to themselves as a Force Missile Mage, but rather a mage or an evoker. When addressed as such they might not understand what you mean or they mey simply say “huh? oh. I see. Yes I guess I am a force missile mage.” Also bear in mind that some titles may not suit the character to which you are refering. For example, a swashbuckler may not actually be a pirate. A “warblade” would literally refer to a person who participated specifically in wars and wields a blade. “Warblade” probably wouldn’t be used to refer to a person who traveled the countryside wielding a club despite the fact that the character possesses levels in Warblade. Just because a character has the traits of the class does not mean that they possess or understand the meaning of the title.
