And so it came to pass that our fearless group of intrepid adventurers went further into the mountains and across plains to pay a visit to the glacial dwarves. Once there, a gift was given: A beautiful likeness of General Torin Frostbite wrought from the ice and inlaid with gold. The statue pleased the mighty general as it brought back memories of his golden years before the war with Crina. After some negotiating and do forth, Frostbite agreed to fight the frost giants in order to prevent the return of Grashnir, the father of all giants. Grashnir was imprisoned almost a thousand years ago by a combined effort between the dwarven races and the more benevolent giants such as storm giants and cloud giants. The father of giants was imprisoned in time within the orb of ages and locked by the rock of ages. It is said that if the rock of ages and the orb of ages reunite at the place where Grashnir was imprisoned, he will once again be free. The rock of ages was given to the giants and the orb of ages to the dwarves in order to prevent this from ever happening. The orb of ages was given by the dwarves to the rulers of Blackwell City in order to keep it far away from the original site of imprisonment. However, as Grigory Griswald informed the party, the orb of ages is already in Crina in the possession of someone named Sophia Blackwell.
It would seem that The MacKita Brothers hired some mercenaries to steal the rock of ages, as well as made their home in The Hole; the place where Grashnir was imprisoned. It is likely that the MacKita Brothers are behind everything and are trying to free Grashnir from his eternal prison.
